I have been thinking about a few things here lately, "Schools!!" I'm not taking up for the kids...believe me that's the last thing they need.....but I have an idea about what would make a better child in school. besides medicine...
First, we separate the kids again ..back to their home town not 15-20 miles away. for ex., my child goes to Ripley, WV. do you know how many kids go to that school....how many towns are mixed together? Ripley, Cottageville, Fairplain, Evans, Kenna.
There should be a school built in each home town, considering the size of the town and the population of course. One side of the school should have 1st-6th, the other side have 7th -12th....wait, hear me out...
This is where it starts to makes sense,
12 teachers per school....1 for each grade. OK..let me explain....lets say my child is starting school next year in the 1st grade, and he gets "Mrs. Smith" and my neighbors child is starting the 8th grade and he gets who ever is assigned to that grade starting out.....those teachers will teach the same children through each grade level until they graduate, ( they are teachers...they should learn how to teach each grade level right?) well, those teachers will know all there students like there own children, the kids won't be afraid to ask questions , or be ashamed of what they wear or where they are from, and there will be less kids to teach because of small towns. They will get along, they'll be no fighting because they all grew up together. Also shorter bus rides...always a plus!!
... what about sports??? keep it the same, it seems to work that way... or have county vs. county just divided up, ex., north Jackson, south Jackson,...north Mason, south Mason (east or west whatever fits the map)
ALL THE POSITIVES.......
*the teacher knows the child and there family
*the teacher will know what child needs more help
*the teacher will learn knew things as they teach, as well as the child
*the kids will be better kids..and do their work (can't pull any punches with a teacher who knows everything about you, pretty much a second parent)
*no crowded class rooms
*no crowed buses
*shorter bus rides
*close to home
*kids are less likely to become drug heads.
*kids are more likely to succeed
*I'm sure there is a lot more to mention!!!
THE NEGATIVES......
*expensive to build the schools.
Now how many parents would object to this idea?...How many would be all for it? We are waisting our money on these huge consolidated schools and teachers to do what?...The teachers can't teach all those kids at once...and the kids that struggle, get left behind because they are too embarrassed to speak up. They just cannot be kids these days...they force drugs (for ADD/ADHD) on these kids so that they can teach without being interrupted! Bring the kids back to there hometown!!!
We were taught, as kids, to pray for things the we want to see, have or what we want to turn out. So many prayers seem as though they go unanswered but God will only grant you what you see yourself worthy of. Imagination is a powerful thing. Everything we see that was built by man started in a mind first, a dream, or a desire. God is our father. If I wanted to give my child something they longed for and they turned their head in shame as though they were not worthy of it, it would break my heart. How would I know they really needed it if they didn’t ask for it or seen themselves worthy of having it? Turn to your father, ask for forgiveness, not just because you have done wrong but ask for forgiveness that you feel the shame inside, the regret, the missed opportunities that you gave up. Ask for forgiveness that you never had faith that God was leading you all long and you ignored the blessings because someone told you that you weren’t worthy. Know your worth and give thanks t...
