VIRGINIA BEACH APRIL 14, 2009 Last Sunday: I was dreaming about taking a vacation, so i get out my 2 favorite things... a notebook and a pen.... and I start figuring up how much it would cost just to go the beach for a couple of days. It wasn't that bad, about $400.00 round trip, but that included everything, gas, food, hotel, (souvenirs not included). I knew we never had the money for it, but thats why its called dreaming. I told my boyfriend about it, we both planned on going this summer when we had some money saved up. Well... Tuesday night : Shawn comes home and tells me that he thinks he sold his car (his work car) by accident. A guy told him i'll give you $1000.00 for that car, he said show me the money and you can have it......thinking he was joking. Wednesday: He delivered the car and got the money, and tells me to plan out everything for the vacation. I just about fell over. I usually don't plan anything, I can't stick to plans or appointments. I don't know what it is, but within the past 3 weeks i have had a terrible sinus infection...i couldn't taste or smell anything! oh it was horrible. I told everyone in the house it was going to be sandwiches or fast food because i can't taste test the meals. I had to quit smoking for a few days, it seemed like i could taste every chemical in the cigarettes ....just when i think its over... I get a weird pain in my kidney area one night and wake up the next morning and hack my head off...now i have a fever with a very sore throat, cough with no flem , and a VERY hoarse voice, i also felt sick to my stomach . so this morning I go to the doctor and they gave me antibiotics and told me to buy some mucinex DM....ok......I still don't know what i have, they never told me. is it common right now or what? I bet they just call it "The Usual" there is something about everyone getting sick these days and its not just the common cold anymore!!
