trick or treat

Trick or treat was last night, and i had a ball. i never buy a costume for the kids I make my own, i think its more original that way. Last year they were Raggety Ann and Andy, I got everything from the thrift store..I love that place..lol... I was dumb- founded yesterday about what the kids were gonna be until my 3 yr old said "i wanna be little red riding hood"....right then i flew to wal mart to get some supplies; red material, a basket, fur, and fake teeth. well i had everything made when my 13 yr old came home from school...i said, "try this on Bryan", (granny gown)....he already thinks i'm crazy for making everything...he said, "MOM!!" He was the big bad wolf. i put him in one of my granny night gowns and my glasses with big ears and a tail. He walked his little sister (little red riding hood) around last night and everyone thought they were adorable. Someone told me i shouldn't let the wolf lead around little red...i told them thats not the ...

my mind isn't the only thing i have lost

I have a 2003 PT cruiser that i haven't driven in 2 years because i have a neon, which gets better gas mileage. It has been garage kept since, and about twice a month we would start it and drive a little ways down the road just to keep everything running good. Well one day i was going somewhere and i got in my car (neon) and realized i had the PT keys...they look the same.....so went back in the house and grabbed the right set of keys.......well that was the last day i seen my PT keys...yeah, i lost my keys. I would use the second set of keys but.....an ex got mad at me a few years back threw them over the hill...nice huh? well that's not the worst part yet. After looking over the entire house, cars, and garage, i call the dealership to see if i can get a new set. They tell me i have to have my PT towed in to program a key for it because it has some kind of chip in it....they tell me the key could cost anywhere between $15.00 and $52.00 well here i am adding up the cost ...

my son, a fatherless child ...i need advice

Bryan, my son, which is 13. I had him when i was 16, i was young and didn't know half of what i was doing, much less how to raise a kid, but i did with the help of my mother. i never took the time to watch him grow because i was still growing myself. i never read a lot of stories to him, or sang many songs, or let him sleep with me. The only way i can explain it, i was young and embarrassed. i was too shy at the time to show him attention in front of anyone. i wasn't raised with a huggy kissy family so i hardly ever hugged or kissed on him . now when it was just me and him it was different, i did love on him, i thought he was the most precious thing in the world, i loved the smell of his hair, it was so blond and so soft. i used to stare at him constantly and just think how perfect he was and that he was mine. my boyfriend at the time (not his father) was mentally and phiscally abusive, i didn't think much about it because that's what i watched growing up myself. i w...

laundry...ugh!!

I am 31 yeas old and i stay home all day, i would love to have a job but mothering comes first....there is 4 of us, 2 kids 2 adults through the week, every other weekend Friday - Monday we have my boyfriends 2 kids. You know, I don't mind doing house chores, but sometimes it gets hecktic...dishes...which get piled up because no one knows how to use the same cup, and kids snacking all day because no one likes the same thing ... supper gets wasted. laundry.. uuhhh , 4 people changing clothes everyday, (every other weekend its 6) of course you know you have to separate! I don't even mate the socks anymore...I put them in a basket...find your own!! well i might get a wild hair sometimes and mate them but very rarely. Oh the kids room is a mess all the time....toys, games and clothes..(my 4 year old daughter changes clothes all day long.... i don't know if they are clean or dirty half the time. well pretty much...wash 'em again). same goes for my 14 year old son....he...

Landed a got a great job but Suprise!! Its average!

Do you know, the normal income of a male between the ages 25-64 is $ 43,473 , that's 20 bucks an hour..... and a female is $33,351 which is 16 bucks an hour. I don't know about anyone else, but i have never made that kinda money working. When i had a full time job i was making $10.00 an hour....that was good money i thought, but that only equaled to around $20,000 a year, that is poverty level according to statistics. I only know a couple of people that make over $30,000 a year and that is older men that has worked for many years to get that far. The reason for all of this is my boyfriend of 3 years just got this new job that he has been trying to get for the last year or so. He was making 11 an hour before and now he will be making 20 an hour for the Teamsters...i feel that is awesome money and a job like that is hard to get, but according to statistics THATS AVERAGE! Its no wonder there is so many people on some form of welfare....just can't afford the high ...

I love Halloween!

I get so giddy when Halloween rolls around, Halloween is a time you can be any one you want to be. Me personally, i like to be something out of the ordinary...well for instance...last year we had a Halloween party for several of us adults. One guy was a gangster, another guy was a nun, there was a clown and a tinkerbell sorta thing. I didn't know what i was going to be yet, all i knew i wanted to wear this long black dress that my mother gave me a few years ago (something i wouldn't wear in public but i didn't tell her that..) well anyway, i had black and silver hair spray and some green and yellow face paint left over from the year before. I teased my hair to no end, i love teasing my hair but i guess Halloween is the only time i can get away with it. I looked hideous. they all called me a crack head...i sure did look like one. i still don't know what i was, But that was the most fun i have had in a long time. I usually decorate the front porch with a dummy, old je...
