I am 31 yeas old and i stay home all day, i would love to have a job but mothering comes first....there is 4 of us, 2 kids 2 adults through the week, every other weekend Friday-Monday we have my boyfriends 2 kids. You know, I don't mind doing house chores, but sometimes it gets hecktic...dishes...which get piled up because no one knows how to use the same cup, and kids snacking all day because no one likes the same thing ... supper gets wasted.
laundry..uuhhh, 4 people changing clothes everyday, (every other weekend its 6) of course you know you have to separate! I don't even mate the socks anymore...I put them in a basket...find your own!! well i might get a wild hair sometimes and mate them but very rarely.
Oh the kids room is a mess all the time....toys, games and clothes..(my 4 year old daughter changes clothes all day long.... i don't know if they are clean or dirty half the time. well pretty much...wash 'em again). same goes for my 14 year old son....he'll put his clothes away when i am watching him...other times...they end up in the floor....well, wash 'em again. I don't think the dirty ones ever get washed..i probably have the cleanest clothes around.
When they do get washed I'll put them in separate piles so when its all done they can be put where they belong..well, now i have piles of dirty clothes in the laundry room and piles of clean clothes in the dining room, that's not all.... you walk in my closet i have piles of clothes to be burnt, gave away or labeled "material". I am sick of clothes!! my wardrobe is mostly pajamas, i can't find my good clothes...i don't think i ever get to wash them, and my socks...good luck finding a pair, because i can't, that's why i just wear sandals.
I love doing laundry when its not all the little crap that comes with it...for instance;
your last few loads from the kids room, or the pile you gathered from the corner of the laundry room that you've been "sorting around" for past months, includes stuff like 3 gloves (unmated), a few pairs of socks that's never had a mate (but you wash them anyway), toboggans that wasn't even dirty until they hit the laundry room floor, there's even clothes that wouldn't fit anyone.. and you don't even know whose they are or how they got there, well... they get washed...these items go into a basket...the "unknown" basket.....because there isn't really a place to put this stuff, well guess what...a month from now, they'll end up right back in the laundry room floor waiting to be washed again......i don't know how!
i just wish everything consisted of Pants, shirts, towels, and sheets....wouldn't that be easy?? AND ALL WHITE!!
i just can't take it...lol
A blog about Laundry....LMAO You can tell i don't get out much!
My next blog will be about bathrooms and the waisting of toilet paper!!!...grrr......lol
